The Individual Education Program (IEP) is designed to outline supports and services required for individual students to achieve success. The IEP is also used to provide teachers and school staff with information and strategies to guide their work with the student. The quality of an IEP is only as meaningful as the team’s approach to its development and how it is implemented. Participants will explore a collaborative process for writing IEPs and how to align goals and strategies to the Common Core. The training will provide participants with strategies and resources for creating authentic IEPs. This session is designed for anyone who plays a role in writing or implementing an IEP.
Suggested Audience: Teachers, Support Staff, Special Education Coordinators/Leads
