The goal is accessibility, and as educators it is our role and responsibility to ensure students have access to learning experiences that build knowledge. Universal Design for Learning is the curriculum planning process that provides access for all learners. This session will provide background on UDL, discuss the importance of implementing UDL school-wide, and give practical strategies and tools for making UDL sustainable. The session will also discuss how to do UDL in a Common Core Standards focused environment. This UDL designed UDL workshop will support educators at all levels by providing examples for how to implement in classrooms and staff trainings.
