Workshop: Response to Intervention (RTI): The What, Why & How

In this workshop, participants will learn about what makes for a solid RTI foundation and how to develop such a foundation, identify key components of a sound intervention plan, understand the phases of RTI implementation, and construct a plan for implantation of RTI. Participants will be exposed to a variety of effective tools, including best practices around the formation and implementation of a Child Study Team, to help with the rollout of RTI in their own schools. Finally, case scenarios and Q&A time will also be built in for participants to gain knowledge around common pitfalls and solutions of RTI implementation.
