The purpose of this workshop is to explore collaborative teaching practices ESOL and general education teachers engage in. Various co-teaching models that promote an integrated service delivery for the sake of ELLs in K-12 instructional settings will be discussed.
Participants will explore the entire collaborative instructional cycle: co-planning, co-instruction, co-assessment, and reflection as well as compare the advantages and challenges of different class configurations for co-taught instruction.
