Is your school implementing a RTI framework but ready to refine your process? Or, is your building partially implementing the framework but ready to move implementation to the next level? Regardless of where you are at in your journey, send a team to this workshop to take your building or district to the next level!
This workshop will provide an overview of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework with an an emphasis on how to sustain practices over time. Information will be provided on recent research on the MTSS framework with a focus on the five areas of (1) Assessments, (2) Data-Based Decision Making, (3) Tiers of Supports, (4) Infrastructure, and (5) Fidelity and Evaluation. Participants will be guided through the use of an implementation rubric to gauge their current level of implementation and establish action plans for implementation.
By attending this session, attendees will:
1. Understand the elements needed for successful MTSS implementation.
2. Assess their current level of implementation using an objective rubric.
3. Understand the importance of a written implementation plan and leave the session with a plan for next steps in their building.
