IEPs are developed with the goal of promoting the inclusion of students with disabilities. However, students are the ones most often left out of the process. In this session we will discuss developmentally appropriate ways in which students can be involved in the IEP process and more fully included in their education. Teachers and administrators will think critically about meaningful ways to engage students and families in this process and best practices to ensure positive outcomes and leave with applicable resources and tools.
