This workshop will give you an overview of the procedures relating to disciplining students with special education needs to ensure that you have the skills necessary to be your site-based expert. Through a review of the laws and case scenarios, participants will leave the session understanding how discipline should look through the lens of special education. Participants will have an opportunity to raise issues pertaining to specific school’s needs, and time will be incorporated during the workshop so that your school’s needs can be addressed on an individual basis.
