A habit is a routine practice. In math, our students often have habits that prevent them making sense of solving problems, and in communicating and using precise, appropriate mathematics and mathematical language. In this session, participants will unpack 8 habits of instructional moves that will help students become mathematical problem solvers.

By attending this session, attendees will leave with:

• Instructional strategies to support comprehension of math word problems
